A house in a residential estate, designed for a small-scale developer on a long, narrow plot.

The brief was to position the house to give the terrace privacy, provide parking by the entrance and incorporate a spa with a sauna.

The architecture was developed for the premium residential market.

The entrance has no raised porch. Both the entrance and parking area are sheltered by a canopy.

The bedroom windows face into the garden.

At ground level, an outdoor dining area with a grill is paired with a relaxation area furnished with sun loungers.

A screen of vertical louvres provides privacy.

Side elevation. A black volume frames the windows of the spa area.

An alternative arrangement with the house running along the access road is also possible.
