Sergey Alexanin
Architect. Founder of ALIVE architecture.
I have worked in architecture since 2007. My experience spans private homes, sports and public buildings, as well as work within large architectural teams.
I create architecture that gives every building a distinct character. I am interested in unconventional spatial and compositional solutions shaped by the site, the building’s purpose and the way people live.
I develop the key architectural decisions personally. At the concept stage, it is important to establish an expressive architectural identity and a convincing functional layout, explore alternatives, identify constraints and agree on the main design decisions.
Specialist designers and consultants join the project where needed, in line with its requirements and the agreed scope of services.
My approach
I do not begin a project by choosing a fashionable style. For me, architecture is the search for an original idea that reflects the client’s values, followed by its coherent expression through space, materials and detail.
I want the architecture to be expressive in real life as well as in visualisations.
